What It's Really Like To Open A Reformer Pilates Studio

Opening a Studio Starts Long Before Opening Day

When people hear we're opening a Reformer Pilates studio, they often imagine the exciting parts, designing the space, choosing the equipment, and planning classes.

And while those things are exciting, the reality is that opening a studio involves hundreds of decisions, countless to-do lists, and more trips to suppliers than we'd care to admit.

Behind every reformer bed, every light fitting, and every carefully chosen detail is a lot of planning and hard work.

The Excitement and The Challenges

There have been moments when everything has felt incredibly exciting.

Seeing the studio take shape, watching deliveries arrive, and imagining the space full of people moving and exercising has reminded us exactly why we started this journey.

There have also been moments of frustration.

Waiting for deliveries. (And still waiting for deliveries!)
Chasing suppliers.
Changing plans.
Learning that opening a business rarely goes exactly to schedule.

But that's all part of the process.

Why We Started S11

S11 was created because we wanted to bring something different to the area.

We've seen first-hand how movement can transform people's confidence, strength, recovery, and overall wellbeing.

We wanted to create a space that combines the benefits of Reformer Pilates with expert clinical knowledge, allowing people to move better, feel stronger, and enjoy exercise in a supportive environment.

More Than Just A Studio

While we're excited about the equipment and the space itself, what we're most excited about is the community that will fill it.

The conversations before class.
The friendships that develop.
The confidence people build.
The milestones that are celebrated.

A studio isn't just four walls and a row of reformers.

It's the people who walk through the door.

Counting Down To Opening Day

As opening day gets closer, we're feeling a mixture of excitement, nerves, and anticipation.

There's still plenty to do, but we're getting closer every day.

We're incredibly grateful for everyone who has followed the journey so far, joined the waiting list, shared our posts, and supported us behind the scenes.

We can't wait to welcome you through the doors of S11.

See you soon.
